Introduction:

This half-day seminar will show you how you can use sustainable materials and methods to enhance the look and energy efficiency of your home - without breaking the bank!

We will provide detailed information on sustainable materials and methods as well as looking at energy efficiency and sustainable insulation.

We will look at three typical projects: a Victorian terraced house, a 1930s semi and a 1960s bungalow. For each type of property we will review the typical issues you face, and the materials, systems and methods to solve them.

Who is it for?

People involved in renovation or refurbishment who are looking to improve the environmental sustainability of their property. This event is suitable for people with little technical knowledge who want to learn more about how existing buildings can be refurbished and improved so that they are more energy efficient and environmentally sound.
