How to Improve your Specification and Technical Report Writing

Aims:

A precise specification is the essential starting point for getting contractors and suppliers to provide what you need.

This course is designed to help you learn good practice in writing specifications and technical reports.

By the end of this course you will understand the key role of specifications in contract management. You will be able to identify the main parts of specifications, and will be able to apply a recognised and appropriate structure to specifications and technical reports.

The course will look at documents covering works such as planned maintenance, improvements and works to void properties.

Maintenance and technical staff who prepare specifications and technical documents. This course is designed for people who already have a good knowledge of construction.
