About the City and Guilds Certificate
Domestic electrical installation work must comply with Part P of the Building Regulations. This half-day course gives you an overview of the regulations and what you need to do to comply.
By the end of this course, you will be able to identify the key requirements of Part P for dwellings, and which works fall under the scope of the regulations.
You will also understand the practical consequences of Part P for your organisation, and what you should expect from operatives and contractors, and how to ensure that work is compliant.
This course is designed for anyone who needs to be aware of the regulations regarding electrical work in dwellings - especially staff who work with contractors and monitor compliance; maintenance managers, contract managers, surveyors and technical staff.
