Aims:

With increasing concern about climate change and the need to save energy, government is looking to housing providers to demonstrate good practice in promoting energy efficiency. Residents are also wanting more information about what they can do to save energy -- and money -- in their homes.

This course is designed to give non-technical staff a good basic understanding of energy efficiency in homes. By the end of this course, participants will be able to explain steps residents can take to improve their energy use in their properties.

Designed for:

Housing staff who deal with queries from residents, housing officers and estate staff who visit properties.
This course is also useful introduction to the subject for staff who are interested in acquiring knowledge in this area to move into a more technical role.
