Charities F.M. Members with venues for hire:-------------------------------- Breast Cancer CareBreast Cancer Care has some lovely rooms for hire at very reasonable rates. Our refurbished Victorian brick building is situated centrally just 5 minutes from the Tate Modern and the river Thames and is fully accessible. Transport is quick and easy with Southwark tube, Waterloo and London Bridge stations close by. We have a very large and light ground floor room for 60/30 theatre/boardroom, another room for 40/20, and 2 smaller rooms for 10 and 8. Rooms are available for hire by the day; half a day or by the hour. Refreshments can also be provided. Please direct all queries for further information to anna.barfield@breastcancercare.org.uk Anna Barfield Cats ProtectionThe National Cat Centre (NCC) near the Ashdown Forest, Sussex, is the latest development in Cats Protection's history. The site combines all the elements of the charity's work - cat adoption, education, veterinary care and administration. Cats Protection National Cat Centre is set in the Ashdown Forest, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The site is 9 miles from Haywards Heath and 7 miles from East Grinstead. Open daily, our Training & Education Centre also comprises a gift shop and a café and an outside seating area and a proposed exhibition area. The shop boasts a wide variety of attractive giftware; including jewellery, souvenirs and tableware as well as a range of essential items for new cat owners. The café serves a wide variety of hot meals, snacks, drinks and hand made cakes and biscuits prepared and baked on the premises - a perfect place to relax after a trip to the National Cat Adoption Centre. Glenys Shepherd Community Hub33 Corsham Street Community Hub, in Corsham Street, N1, 3 minutes from Old Street Station, has two well equipped rooms available for hire. They are fully accessible to wheelchair users and those with mobility difficulties. The high-ceilinged training room can hold around 24 people boardroom style or 44 people theatre style. Equipment can be hired, as well as photocopying and conference calling facilities. The other meeting room is set out board room style and seats 6. Fairtrade tea and coffee can be provided at a small extra cost and catering arranged for full day and lunch meetings. Chilled filtered water is provided at no cost. Situated in a pleasant canal-side setting, the suite is available for hire every day of the week, including weekends, from 9.00am to 6.00pm. Twelve rooms are available for hire with capacities ranging from 12 boardroom style up to 120 theatre style. NCVO is conveniently located just ten minutes walk from King’s Cross Station which makes it easy to get to whether your delegates are travelling by underground or overground. There is limited car parking for disabled visitors which must be booked in advance. Viewing is strongly recommended and a member of staff will be happy to show you around the suite and talk through all your possible needs.
