Loft Spaces and Insulation

The loft space is often neglected until something goes wrong, such as leakage of a water tank or of the roof itself.

This display shows two examples of loft spaces. One is neglected and poorly maintained. The other shows you what a well-maintained loft should look like.

This display also looks at how to insulate the roof space to conserve energy. We show you how to insulate the roof and plumbing components. You can see different types of insulation materials; as well as rockwool, we now have two environmentally friendly products on display: recycled newspaper and sheep's wool insulation.
