The Electrics Display

Electricity is a useful part of our lives, and it is important to ensure that electrical installations are safe. Roughly 10 people die and about 750 are seriously injured each year in accidents involving unsafe electrical installations in the home.

This display shows a full domestic electrical installations, with information on safety, regulations and how to save on your energy bills.

The display shows:

• lighting and power circuits

• information on the regulations governing electrical work

• details of which appliances use most energy

• advice on ensuring your wiring is safe
