| The Charities Property Fund |
|
The British Institute of Facilities Management |
| Launched in 2000 the Charities Property Fund was the first Common
Investment Fund available to all charities in England and Wales that
invests directly in UK commercial property. Many charities do not
have sufficient funds to create a portfolio large enough to spread
the risk of owning individual properties. The Charities Property Fund
has been specifically designed to meet the needs of charities, allowing
them access to professional property investment and management while
avoiding the time and expense of property administration. |
|
Facilities management is one of the fastest growing professions
in the UK. Facilities managers are responsible for many of the buildings
and services which support businesses and other types of organisation.
BIFM is the UKs lead institute representing the interests
of those who practice facilities management and those who work in
organisations supplying FM related goods or services.
