Activities - What we do:

The Charities Facilties Management Group is an informal network aimed at improving the voluntary sector's ability to get the best out of property and facilities management.

Meetings

We hold roughly four meetings each year. The meetings are designed to highlight topics of interest and to provide an opportunity to meet and get to know people in other charities.

Newsletter

We send out a monthly email newsletter to members. This highlights changes in regulations and other topical issues, as well as news and information for members. Members can submit requests for help and usually get helpful advice in return.

Conferences

Our annual conference is the main opportunity for people who deal with facilities management in the voluntary sector to get together.

Projects

Sustainable Facilities Management: The Charities FM Group is committed to encouraging charities to work sustainability. We have drafted a model sustainable development policy for charities to adopt. The policy encourages voluntary sector organisations to look at the environmental impact of their activities, and to make a commitment to working in sustainable ways.
